Frontis. portrait, map, index; 225pp.
Michael Yardley, in "Backing into the Limelight", considers this work "is an important landmark among books on Lawrence" His earlier book was written with the support of Lawrence's brother, however in 1937 he was imprisoned for selling papers lent to him by A.W. Lawrence, to pay a blackmailer. It would appear that there was pressure brought to bear on newspapers not to review this book, which would explain its scarcity.
