Field Marshal Sir Claud William Jacob, GCB, GCSI, KCMG [1863-1948] had a most distinguished career on the North West frontier and in the First World war He was Military Secretary at the India Office from 1926 to 1930. He was commissioned into the Worcester Regiment in 1882 and in retirement became their Colonel.
